Step Two:

 

TEMPLATE CHECKLIST

 

*The following steps must be completed prior to template.

This is to ensure that your stone tops are fully installed and properly secured to the wall and/or floor.

 

1.) All cabinets must be level.

 

2.) Corbels to support any overhangs must be installed prior to template.

(unless The Bracho Marble & Granite, Inc. is providing this service)

 

3.) Sinks and faucets need to be onsite.

(unless purchased from us) It may be necessary for us to bring these back to our shop to ensure proper fit.

Apron sinks must be placed in sink cabinets before template.

 

4.) Placement of faucets will be discussed and determined when template is commenced. When applicable, your pop-up style cooktop vent needs to be on the jobsite along with cooktop. These items may be brought back to shop at this time to ensure proper fit.

 

5.) An adult (homeowner or contractor representative) must be present at time of template.

 

6.) A signed contract and deposit must be received before template is scheduled.

 

Note: Any appliance garages, tambour doors, or cabinets that sit directly on top of countertops must be installed after the new countertop is installed.

 

We use our wooden template to build your stone countertop. With precision, we mark the location of the sink hole and any other cuts in the stone. We then label what kind of edge you want on the countertop and length of the overhang on your template.
